Well, it took a while but I finally decided on a domain name that satisfied me and created this blog site (thanks Kelly and MonkK). My friend and partner in crime, MonkK suggested I set up my blog site with the Drupal content management system. I have to say after following the installation instructions getting the MySQL database set up and actually installing Drupal, I am impressed. Drupal is either a light or a heavyweight in the CMS genre. It’s all up to you and how much you wish to customize your blog site. Me? Well I tend do go to the hilt on most all I do, if you’re gonna do it do it right, right? I installed many modules and themes to customize the look and feel of Drupal and I am pretty happy with my blog site so far. I am sure I will be fine tuning for quite some time now as it’s in my nature to tweak things until they are perfect. Well perfect to me that is, LOL.
 
This blog will contain my trek through studying and preparing for testing for the Microsoft Certified Professional Developer (MCPD) certification, my current and past experiences in IT (11 years of it so far) and experiences and observations in life (too many years to admit to) as they occur. I will be posting what I believe is either important to remember or just plain old needs to be said to get it off my chest. This is my first attempt at a blog site so it may stray from what I originally intended to something completely different. I promised myself to allow it to evolve into whatever it becomes. This gives me the freedom to add whatever I wish to the site and cull out the bad later (hopefully there won’t be much of that).
 
For you, the reader, sit back relax and laugh while you read my thoughts on whatever particular subject I decide to  splatter all over the inter web for all to see. Hmm, I am feeling a bit overexposed at the moment LOLOL.
